Dave Barry is known as a relationally-oriented, missionally-practiced, and technologically-savvy leader, inside and outside the church.

Some of his kingdom highlights include:
Experienced leader in a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial, multi-staff/multi-site environment. Innovative ministry builder, launching new initiatives and mentoring new leaders. Seasoned missional catalyst, increasing the engagement of the church to local needs. Regionally networked, partnering to develop a city-wide ministry to 200+ young adults. Gifted preacher, consistently delivering proven transformative and relevant Biblical sermons. Relationally focused, active listener, creating warm and welcome environments.

Dave is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary where he was recognized as an outstanding communicator, a natural community builder, and passionate about missions and the missional church. As a leader, Dave served on the Student Advisory Board for the Office of Presbyterian Ministries and was chosen by his peers to lead of the School of Theology as its Co-President.

Prior to moving to Southern California and studying at Fuller, Dave was a missionary in Beirut, Lebanon, where he lived at the Near East School of Theology and taught music and bible in one of the Presbyterian Synod association of schools. He developed excellent relationships with Presbyterians in Lebanon and Syria and has stayed in touch since.

Dave is married to Tera, also a Fuller graduate. Tera serves the Director of Communication for Needle's Eye Ministries, and says her fun job is working with the Richmond Christmas Parade as the Corporate Sponsor Vice-Chair.

Dave and Tera both love reading, watching movies together, and playing board games with friends. Most of all they love to travel and meet new people, and their dream is to travel the world sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

Dave was ordained as Associate Pastor for Evangelism and Outreach at Third Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia, and assisted in leading and developing a new church site. His areas of responsibility included: young adults, preaching, evangelism, students, missional culture, worship planning, leadership development, small group cultivation, strategic planning, and multiplication strategies.
